Education and Employment Background
Bobby M. Collins graduated from Iowa Park High in 1977. The very next day, he started his new job as a brakeman for Burlington Railroad and only a year later, he became conductor–one of the youngest in Texas. Bobby then joined the US Army and served for three years, serving mostly in Germany as a combat engineer, reaching the highest rank of E5. He used the GI Bill for college to educate himself for finance.
He then worked for TLC National Marketing Inc., where he started as an agent selling insurance products, quickly moving from an agent to manager, regional manager and then state manager and finally V.P of sales covering Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Bobby was then V.P. of Team Marketing in Wichita Falls, Texas, until 2001 when he decided to work for himself.
Bobby M. Collins is married to his wife Kari, has two children and two wonderful grandsons, and lives in Wichita Falls, Texas.
